Who we are and what we collect
The data controller responsible for your personal information is ROBLAWMAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED, Level 4, Aviation House, 12 Johnston Street, Wellington Central 6011, New Zealand. You can reach our privacy team at privacy@roblawmaxjobs.com.
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — your name, email address and login credentials.
- Content you upload — your résumé, LinkedIn or profile details, job descriptions and other documents you choose to provide.
- Chat and prompt inputs — the text you enter when interacting with the AI.
- Usage data — device, browser, log and analytics information about how you use the service.
- Payment data — billing details processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your full card number.
How and why we use your information
We use your information to:
- provide, operate and personalize the Roblawmax service and generate your pivot maps and plans;
- process subscriptions and payments;
- respond to support requests and communicate with you about the service;
- maintain security, prevent abuse and comply with our legal obligations;
- improve the service and understand how it is used.
Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of our contract with you (to provide the service), your consent (for example, optional analytics), and our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the service), balanced against your rights.
Your rights
Under the GDPR (if you are in the EU/EEA or UK) you have the right to access, correct, delete, port and object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time.
Under the CCPA (if you are a California resident) you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell your personal information.
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, we handle personal information in accordance with the 13 Information Privacy Principles (IPPs), which govern how information is collected, stored, used, disclosed and corrected. You may ask us to access or correct your information, and if you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of New Zealand.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@roblawmaxjobs.com.
Retention, deletion and international transfers
We keep your personal information only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (for example, billing records) by law.
Because our providers operate globally, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses — to protect it.
Children and contact
Roblawmax is intended for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us so we can remove it.
